Major Injury Grantville Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 15 near Friars Road

Grantville, California (April 2, 2020) – At least one person was transported to the hospital after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision Wednesday night in Grantville, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident involved three vehicles that collided in the northbound lanes of the Interstate 15 freeway, north of Friars Road shortly after 9:50 p.m. April 1.

One of the involved automobiles rolled over upon the impact.

Meanwhile, at least one unidentified person was hospitalized with major injuries sustained in the crash.

The wreck resulted in the closure of all northbound lanes of I-15 for an unknown time.

The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
