San Diego Multi-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway at Highway 52 Kills 1 Victim

San Diego, California (June 25, 2020) – One person died and another one was hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident in the area of San Diego Thursday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The mishap involved four or five automobiles that collided in the southbound lanes of 15 Freeway, near Highway 52, at around 4:46 p.m.

Officials identified some of the involved vehicles as a white 2009 Toyota Corolla and a Honda Accord.

Firefighters responded at the crash site and administered CPR on one of the involved victims.

Sadly, one unidentified person was pronounced dead at the crash site. At the same time, a second party riding in the Toyota Corolla was rushed to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla by AMR Medic 40 for further aid.

Authorities requested tow trucks to remove a Honda Accord, the Toyota, and a third vehicle away from the accident scene.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the fatal wreck.
