Robert Clough, Robert Parriott Killed in Tuolumne County Plane Crash

Authorities Identify Two Killed in Tuolumne County Plane Crash on Springfield Road near Columbia Airport as Robert Clough and Robert Parriott

Tuolumne County, California (February 6, 2020) – The two people who were killed when their small plane crashed Wednesday evening in Tuolumne County have been identified as Robert Clough, 73, and Robert Parriott, 71, both of Sonora.

The fatal crash occurred in the 21000 block of Springfield Road, near the Columbia Airport at about 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6.

According to the authorities, Clough was piloting a single-engine Cessna 140A when it crashed and flipped over.

Clough and his passenger, Parriott, were killed in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
