Rider Seriously Injured in Ventura County Motorcycle Crash on Potrero Road
Ventura County Motorcycle and Car Accident on Potrero Road Resulted in Serious Injuries
Ventura County, California (March 28, 2020) – Serious injuries were reported following a motorcycle collision that took place along Potrero Road, just west of Via Acosta in Ventura County Friday evening.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, the major injury crash involved a motorcycle and a Subaru Crosstrek that collided on the highway near the Newbury Park area in Thousand Oaks at about 6:19 p.m.
The rider sustained major injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by medical personnel along with fire department officials and then transported to an area hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the identity and the current condition of the patient have not yet been released to this time.
It was not mentioned whether the involved motorist remained at the scene or was hurt after the wreck.
The CHP is still investigating to identify the cause of the accident.
