Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Middletown Hit-And-Run Accident Friday Afternoon

Middletown, California – A bicyclist was rushed to the hospital on Friday afternoon as he suffered critical injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run accident at India and West Washington streets in Middletown.

According to the San Diego police, at around 1:30 pm, the bicyclist was riding near the intersection when a vehicle hit him.

After the accident, the motorist fled from the scene.

The bicyclist was identified as a 66-year-old person and Medics immediately responded to the crash and took the rider to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The motorist involved in the hit-and-run accident was driving a blue or grey colored Caravan with a Georgia License plate. The license plate number was RRJ7004 and it also sustained major front end damage in the accident.

This case is under investigation by the San Diego police.
