Richard Beaver Killed in Train Accident near Shasta Dam Boulevard and La Mesa Avenue in Shasta Lake

Richard Beaver Identified as Shasta Lake Train Accident near Shasta Dam Boulevard and La Mesa Avenue

Shasta Lake, California (January 3, 2020) – 34-year-old Richard “Ricky” Wesley Beaver of Shasta Lake has been identified as the pedestrian killed after a train crash last month in Shasta Lake, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened near Shasta Dam Boulevard and La Mesa Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. on December 21.

As per the CHP officials, Beaver was riding a motorcycle for unknown reasons when he collided with an Amtrak train.

Efforts to resuscitate the victim were futile and he was declared dead at the scene.

No person riding in the train was injured.

An investigation is ongoing.
