CHP Investigating Carlsbad Car Accident on Interstate 5 S and La Costa Avenue

Carlsbad, California (December 31, 2019) – Possible injuries were reported in a traffic collision that happened in the area of Carlsbad on Monday afternoon, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The two-vehicle collision happened at approximately 1:39 p.m. December 30, on Interstate 5 and La Costa Avenue.

As per the CHP report, gray Toyota and an unspecified white vehicle collided on the highway for unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, an ambulance was sent off to the crash site to attend to those who might have been injured in the wreck.

The current condition and the exact number of injured victims remain unknown to this time.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
