46-Year-Old Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Highland Park 

Highland Park, California (December 31, 2019) – Police are investigating the cause of a pedestrian accident that resulted in the death of a 46-year-old woman in the area of Highland Park on Monday afternoon.

According to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez, the collision happened in the 400 block of Lewis Street at approximately 4:30 p.m. December 30.

The female party was hit by an unspecified vehicle for undisclosed reasons.

Authorities declared the victim dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the operator of the involved vehicle stopped after hitting the pedestrian and cooperated with the investigation.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
