Injuries Sustained in Costa Mesa Car Accident on San Diego (405) Freeway at Harbor Boulevard

Costa Mesa, California (January 28, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday morning in Costa Mesa.

The three-car crash took place at about 3:20 a.m. on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway at Harbor Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, three wrecked vehicles were found in the carpool and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.

Paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to those who might have sustained injuries in the crash.

Authorities closed all southbound lanes of the freeway at Harbor Boulevard for about an hour following the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
