Police Pursuit Ends into Motorcycle Crash in Arroyo Grande
At Least 1 Hurt in Arroyo Grande Motorcycle Crash at Willow Road and Conoco Phillips Refinery
Arroyo Grande, California (January 31, 2020) – At least one person was injured after a police pursuit ended into a crash at an intersection on Thursday night in the area of Arroyo Grande, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened a while before 7:55 p.m. at Willow Road and Conoco Phillips Refinery.
As per the CHP officials, officials responded to a domestic violence call in the area. The suspect, identified only as a man, fled in a car upon seeing the police. It was at this time, a chase ensued which ended after the police-pursued car crashed into a motorcycle. As a result of the force of the collision, the man’s car rolled over several times before catching fire.
Firefighters along with medical personnel arrived at the scene and attended to one person with moderate injuries due to the crash. The suspect suffered minor injuries following the collision.
Both the patient and the suspect were taken to the hospital for further treatment. Their names and their current condition were not immediately released.
