Elderly Woman Hit, Killed by Vehicle near Bacon Street and Bayshore Boulevard in San Francisco Identified as Piu Dea

San Francisco, December (December 9, 2019) – Authorities have identified the elderly woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning near Partola as Piu King Dea, 79, of San Francisco.

The fatal pedestrian accident occurred at around 6:05 a.m. Saturday, December 7 near Bacon Street and Bayshore Boulevard.

According to the authorities, Dea was crossing the street near the intersection when for an unknown reason, she was struck by a sedan.

Dea died in the accident.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash was not arrested.

The accident remains under investigation by the authorities.
