Man Dies Following Fatal Santa Monica Pedestrian Accident at Lincoln Boulevard and Colorado Avenue
Santa Monica, California (January 27, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a train Sunday morning in Santa Monica, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian accident took place at around 6:00 a.m. Sunday, January 26 at the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Colorado Avenue.
Authorities said a homeless man was on the tracks when for an unknown reason, he was struck by a Metro Line train.
The man died at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
Further details about the accident were not immediately provided.
