Man, Woman Suffers Major Injuries in Simi Valley Motorcycle Accident at Tierra Rejada Road and Stargaze Place

Simi Valley, California (January 27, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday evening after a traffic accident in the area of Tierra Rejada Road and Stargaze Place in Simi Valley, authorities said.

The wreck happened at about 6:04 a.m. Tuesday, January 21 at the intersection of Tierra Rejada Road and Stargaze Place.

As per the report, a 17-year-old male was driving a tan 2008 Toyota Camry westbound on Tierra Rejada Road when he turned left onto Stargaze place and collided with a black 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600 that was heading eastbound on Tierra Rejada Road, driven by a Moorpark man.

The Moorpark man and his female passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The names and conditions of the patients were not immediately available.

The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

It remains unknown if speed was a factor in the accident.

All lanes of Tierra Rejada Road was shut down in both directions for several hours following the crash. The road was reopened at around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
