One Person Dies after San Luis Obispo Pedestrian Crash on Tank Farm Road
San Luis Obispo, California (February 12, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday night fatal pedestrian accident in San Luis Obispo.
The pedestrian crash occurred, some moments to 11:00 p.m., February 11, at the intersection of Tank Farm Road, east of Higuera Street.
The police reportedly received a call about a pedestrian versus a car crash at the intersection.
Upon the arrival of the police, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved motorist stopped and cooperated with the police.
According to officials, driving under the influence of alcohol was not a factor, but dark conditions on the roadway may have contributed to the crash.
The roadway was closed as a result of the crash.
An investigation is underway.
