Minor Injuries Reported in Sonora Car Accident on Highway 108 near West Stockton Street

Sonora, California (February 12, 2020) – A two-vehicle crash on Highway 108 in Sonora, resulted in injuries.

Authorities responded to the westbound lane of Highway 108, just before the turn lane heading onto West Stockton Street after reports of a traffic accident that happened at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 11.

A Jeep and a Land Rover collided in the westbound lane the highway, the CHP report states.

Minor injuries were reported in the crash. The total number of injured parties and their identities at this time remained undisclosed.

A tow truck was dispatched to the crash site to remove the wrecked vehicles.

Police closed both lanes of Highway 108 as a result of the crash. The highway was reopened to traffic at around 4:20 p.m.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
