Pedestrian Killed in Pacoima Hit-and-Run Accident on Glenoaks Boulevard
1 Killed in Pacoima Pedestrian Accident at Glenoaks Boulevard and Desmond Street
Pacoima, California (February 7, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed Thursday night in an alleged hit-and-run accident in Pacoima, authorities said.
According to the authorities, the pedestrian, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was hit by a burgundy, newer model SUV at about 8:16 p.m. Thursday, February 6, near Glenoaks Boulevard and Desmond Street.
The pedestrian died in the crash.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene after the accident and was last seen traveling eastbound on Highway 118 from Glenoaks.
The suspected hit-and-run driver was later arrested by police.
The accident remains under investigation.
