Pedestrian Injured After Being Hit by Vehicle on Highway 101 in Cotati
Person Injured in Cotati Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 near Railroad Avenue Off-Ramp
Cotati, California (February 18, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Cotati, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash occurred at around 7:15 a.m. on Highway 101 near Railroad Avenue exit.
As per the CHP report, the pedestrian was struck by a gray Toyota Camry near the shoulder of the highway.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the pedestrian conscious. The name of the victim and the extent of their injuries were not immediately available.
Reportedly, the victim was driving a truck on Highway 101 and had stopped on the shoulder to try and pick up insulation that had fallen into the road.
The accident remains under investigation.
