Pedestrian Dies in Jamul Car Crash on State Route 94

Jamul, California (January 3, 2019) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident that happened on Thursday night in Jamul.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at around 9:20 p.m. Thursday, January 2, on State Route 94 near Jamul Casino.

It’s unclear what led up to the incident.

CHP said the pedestrian died as a result of the crash. The victim’s name was not immediately released.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the CHP.
