Sacramento, California (February 11, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Monday evening in Sacramento, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 6:10 p.m. Monday, February 10 at the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue.
Police said the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the Sacramento intersection.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of kin.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
The roadway was closed following the crash.
