Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle on Highway 4 in Pittsburg

Pedestrian Killed in Highway 4 Crash near Loveridge Road Off-Ramp in Pittsburg

Pittsburg, California (February 16, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Pittsburg.

At about 1:17 a.m., the officers received a report about a pedestrian hit by a vehicle on eastbound state Highway 4 near Loveridge Road off-ramp.

The pedestrian died in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The off-ramp at Loveridge Road was shut down as the authorities investigating the accident.
