Pa Thao Severely Injured after Car Accident on Highway 199 in Crescent City 

Pa Thao Among 3 Hospitalized after Crescent City Car Crash on Highway 199

Crescent City, California (February 5, 2020) – Pa Houa Thao, 25, of Crescent City, has been identified as one of the victims hospitalized after a major injury crash on Monday night in Crescent City, according to the CHP.

The severe injury crash occurred on February 3, on Highway 199, north of Siskiyou Fork Road.

The police said a 2015 Honda was traveling north on Highway 199 at about 8:33 p.m. when it swerved across the double yellow lines and hit a southbound 1997 Toyota driven by Thao head-on.

Firefighters aided one person who was trapped in one of the cars.

Thao, her passenger and the driver of the Honda were all hospitalized with major injuries.

Alcohol and drugs were not considered as factors in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
