Injuries Reported after San Juan Capistrano Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Crown Valley Parkway

San Juan Capistrano, California (January 19, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a traffic accident that happened Sunday in San Juan Capistrano, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on the Interstate 5 Freeway near the Crown Valley Parkway Sunday, January 12.

As per the CHP report, five vehicles collided on the Interstate 5 Freeway. A wrong-way vehicle reportedly caused the crash. Three of the involved vehicles were described as a blue SUV, a Limousine, and a Jeep.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and treated those who were injured in the crash. The names and conditions of the victims at this time were not disclosed.

The accident remains under investigation.
