Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Crash on 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga

Person Dies Following Fatal Rancho Cucamonga Motorcycle Accident on 210 Freeway near Archibald Avenue

Rancho Cucamonga, California (February 25, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that killed a motorcyclist Monday morning on 210 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga.

The fatal wreck occurred on the 210 Freeway, just east of Archibald Avenue at around 5:15 a.m. Monday, February 24.

The CHP said a man was riding a Yamaha YZF-R6 at about 90 miles per hour when he tried to drive past a Chevrolet Silverado and a Toyota Tacoma. The motorcyclist eventually collided with both the Silverado and Tacoma.

According to the CHP, the motorcyclist was splitting lanes between the HOV and the number one lane before the crash. The rider was ejected from his bike upon the impact.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and administered CPR on the motorcyclist before transporting him to the San Antonio Regional Hospital. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

An investigation into the crash is underway.

“Far too many motorcycle accidents are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. Under California’s rule of comparative negligence, a victim may be able to collect compensation for injuries and other damages even if you were partly at fault for the accident.

Mr. Khodaverdian encourages victims and their family members to seek legal help as soon as possible in order to preserve their rights to the full extent of the law.

Mr. Khodaverdian has worked for many years as a wrongful death and personal injury attorney. He and his team of attorneys has helped thousands of injury victims and their families recover over $100 million in compensation. “In one case, we recovered a 7-figure settlement within 11 business days of being hired by the family of a victim who was killed by a negligent driver.”

Swift action by an experienced attorney helps preserve evidence, interview witnesses, and begin to pursue those responsible for the incident.
