Rider Hospitalized after Santa Barbara Motorcycle Accident on Highway 154 at East Camino Cielo

Santa Barbara, California (January 12, 2020) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after a traffic accident near San Marcos Pass, Santa Barbara, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash took place at about 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11 on Highway 154 at East Camino Cielo.

The CHP said a motorcycle collided with a sedan at the intersection.

The motorcyclist was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with moderate injuries. The name and current condition of the rider remained undisclosed.

The accident remains under investigation.
