Rider Injured in Bakersfield Dirt Bike Accident on Beardsley Avenue Friday afternoon
Bakersfield, California (March 28, 2020) – Police are investigating a minor injury accident involving a dirt bike and a vehicle that occurred in Bakersfield Friday afternoon.
At about 1:14 p.m. Friday, March 27, a gray Dodge Ram pickup truck collided with the motorcycle in the 324 block of Beardsley Avenue. The bike became pinned underneath the truck after the impact.
The rider sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by responding medical personnel. However, the identity of the victim and their condition were not immediately provided.
The bike was towed from the accident scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
