Minor Injury Traffic Collision at Ord Ferry Road in Chico
1 Injured in Chico Car Accident at Ord Ferry Road and River Road
Chico, California (January 17, 2020) – At least one person was injured after a car crash Monday evening in the area of Chico, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at Ord Ferry Road and River Road at around 6:54 p.m. January 13.
Authorities said that a black Chevrolet Impala and a sedan collided for unknown reasons. The two cars drove off the roadway as a result of the collision.
Responding firefighters along with paramedics rendered aid to at least one party with minor injuries in the crash. The name and the current condition of the wounded party were not immediately released.
Following the crash, the Impala sustained a broken rear axle.
No other details concerning this crash were released.
The incident remains under investigation.
