San Diego Car Crash on Interstate 805 near 15 Freeway

San Diego, California (April 8, 2020) – Minor injuries were sustained when two vehicles collided Tuesday afternoon on a freeway in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash took place at about 2:22 p.m. on northbound 805 Freeway near 15 Freeway.

Authorities said at least two cars were involved in the collision. One of them may have been speeding before it lost control and caused the crash.

One of the vehicles overturned onto its side, and another had its airbags deployed.

Responding paramedics said minor injuries were sustained in the crash. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.

CHP is investigating the crash.
