Boyle Heights Car Crash on Interstate 5 Freeway Resulted in Injuries
Boyle Heights, California (April 8, 2020) – Two people were trapped following a traffic collision that happened in the area of Boyle Heights Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
As per the report, a burgundy Toyota Scion collided with a big rig truck in the No. 3 lane of southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, near East Cesar Chavez Avenue at around 12:49 p.m.
Medical personnel, along with firefighters, responded to the crash site and extricated two victims who were trapped inside the Toyota Scion.
The identities and the current conditions of the involved parties have not yet been released thus far.
The roadway was closed down for an unknown time.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
