Los Angeles, California (December 11, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a train on Wednesday morning in South Los Angeles, as per a police report.
The crash was reported at around 1:00 a.m. December 11, near Exposition Boulevard and Farmdale Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a Metro train struck the pedestrian when he fell backward onto the track.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The train did not strop as the conductor did not realize that the train hit a person.
The identity of the deceased was not released immediately.
The crash is still under investigation.
