Fernando Leon ID’d Victim Injured in Tehama County on Highway 99 and Rodeo
Tehama County, California (December 11, 2019) – 21-year-old Fernando Leon, of Corning, has been identified as one of the people injured in a vehicle crash on Tuesday morning in Tehama County, as per a local news source.
The collision was reported at around 5:45 a.m. December 10, on Highway 99 and Rodeo.
The California Highway Patrol said Leon was driving a Honda Civic northbound on Highway 99 when it collided head-on with a Ford, which was traveling southbound. The Honda Civic then came to rest on the Westbound shoulder, and a Chevy that was heading southbound struck the Ford.
Leon and the other two drivers were injured in the collision. A passenger in the Ford was killed in the crash.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
