Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash at SENTRI Line near San Ysidro Port of Entry in San Diego

Fatal San Diego Pedestrian Accident at SENTRI Line near San Ysidro Port of Entry

San Diego, California (January 6, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a traffic collision that took place in San Diego on Saturday night.

According to a local news source, the pedestrian collision happened in the Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI) line near San Ysidro Port of Entry at about 10:00 p.m. January 4.

The accident involved a male party in a wheelchair and a black jeep with U.S. license plates.

The initial report indicated that the jeep struck the pedestrian in the SENTRI Line for reasons still under an active investigation.

The man died in the accident.

The name of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.

The investigation is underway.
