Man Injured in Victorville 2-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway at Palmdale Road Off-Ramp Friday night

Victorville, California (May 16, 2020) – A man was flown to a trauma center after a two-vehicle crash in Victorville Friday night, a local news source reported.

At about 9:54 p.m. on May 15, officers responded to southbound 15 Freeway at the Palmdale Road off-ramp for reports of a traffic accident involving two vehicles.

As per the report, a Ford F-150 collided a white 2019 Nissan Rogue in the southbound lane of the freeway at the Palmdale Road exit. The force of the impact caused the Nissan to roll over, ejecting its driver onto the roadway.

Paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR on the ejected driver before being airlifted to a nearby trauma center.  The condition of the patient was not immediately provided.

Police later arrested a man who stopped at the crash site. It remains unclear why the motorist was arrested.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
