Injuries Reported After 2-Vehicles Collided on Mission Avenue near Roymar Road
Oceanside, California (February 19, 2020) – A 29-year-old male pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a car on Monday night in Oceanside.
As per the report, the man was hit by a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old woman while crossing Mission Avenue near Roymar Road at approximately 10:00 p.m. on February 17.
The primary report indicated that the male pedestrian was crossing Oceanside Street against a red light while the vehicle had the green light at the time of the collision.
The victim was confirmed to have sustained serious head injuries following the wreck. He was rushed to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla for treatment.
The investigation is underway.
