Man Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on Story Road near Karl Street

San Jose, California (December 8, 2019) – According to a local news source, a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in East San Jose.

The deadly crash took place at around 10:09 p.m. Saturday, December 7 on Story Road near Karl Street.

As per the report, a black Hyundai sedan was traveling eastbound on Story Road when for an unknown reason, it struck a 37-year-old man who was walking in traffic lanes on Story Road.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.

The Hyundai driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with police. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
