One Person Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at Fairfax Road and Eucalyptus Drive
Bakersfield, California (May 11, 2020) – One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Sunday evening in Bakersfield, according to police.
At about 8:35 p.m., on May 10, the officials responded to the fatal crash at the intersection of Fairfax Road and Eucalyptus Drive.
The authorities said a man was, for unknown reasons, struck by a car. It was not clear if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time.
The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The involved vehicle remained at the crash site.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
