At Least 1 Hurt in Castro Valley Car Accident on Center Street and Grove Way

Castro Valley, California (January 13, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major injury car accident that happened on Sunday morning in the area of Castro Valley.

The accident took place near Center Street and Grove Way a while before 10:05 a.m. January 12.

As per the California Highway Patrol, a gray van and a gold Lexus crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to at least one person who sustained severe injuries in the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

The incident remains under investigation.
