Mendocino County, California (February 21, 2020) – Two people were severely injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Thursday, February 20, at around 8:05 a.m. in Mendocino County, police said.
Authorities said a Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading northbound on Highway 101 at approximately 55 to 60 mph. A Ford Fusion then struck the Volkswagen a third time on the highway.

The other two drivers were treated and released at the scene of the crash.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
