Mai Yang ID’d as One of Four Killed in Fresno Car Crash on Millerton Road near Bellaggio Road

Fresno, California (March 15, 2020) – One of the four people who were killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Millerton Lake in Fresno County has been identified as Mai Yang, 74, of Fresno.

A 1995 Nissan pickup truck was heading northbound on Millerton Road when it veered into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 1998 Toyota Camry, at about 2:00 a.m. on March 13.

Yang and three other female passengers in the back seat of the Toyota were declared dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan was also pronounced dead at the scene.

The Toyota driver was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries while his right front male passenger was taken by ground ambulance to CRMC in serious condition.

All parties were wearing seatbelts when the accident occurred, the CHP said.Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.
