Madera County, CA: 1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 41 near Road 208

1 Killed in Madera County Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 near Road 208

Madera County, California (December 8, 2019) – One person was killed in a traffic collision involving three vehicles in Madera County on Sunday just before noon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fatal possible weather-related multivehicle crash, which was reported just before noon, December 8, occurred along Highway 41 near Road 208.

As per the CHP report, a red Chevrolet Malibu traveling north on the Highway lost control in heavy rain and slid onto the opposite lanes where it crashed into a gray Toyota pickup and a blue Ford sedan.

The Malibu motorist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said the operator of the Toyota pickup, and the driver and possibly an occupant riding in the Ford sedan sustained minor injuries in the crash.

All victims were rushed to hospitals in Fresno by ambulance for treatment.

The investigation is underway.
