Person Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on SR 184 ID’d as 32-Year-Old Luciana Perez
Bakersfield, California (May 26, 2020) – 32-year-old Luciana Perez, of Lamont, has been identified as the woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 184, near E. Wilson Road in Bakersfield at about 10:49 p.m. May 25, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office reported.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, Perez was hit by a2014 Volkswagen Passat while walking in the southbound lane of the highway Monday night.
Perez died at Kern Medical Center, where she was admitted after the wreck.
The Volkswagen motorist, who was intoxicated at the time of the collision, was arrested by police.
