LAPD Motorcycle Officer Injured in Santa Clarita Crash on Highway 41 near Via Princessa
Santa Clarita, California (January 30, 2020) – According to a local news report, a Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer sustained injuries in a traffic accident that happened Wednesday morning in Santa Clarita.
The collision took place at around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 29 in the southbound lanes of Highway 14 near Via Princessa and Golden Valley Road.
Authorities said the crash involved the motorcycle officer and a car in the southbound lanes of Highway 14.
Paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the officer who was injured in the crash. Their injuries were considered not serious.
Traffic was halted in the southbound lanes of Highway 14 for more than two and a half hours while the investigation took place.
