Injuries Sustained in 7-Car Accident on State Route 92 in Foster City

Injuries Reported in Foster City Crash on State Route 92 near Foster City Boulevard Off-Ramp

Foster City, California (January 30, 2020) – Injuries were sustained following a traffic accident that happened Wednesday morning in Foster City, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The multi-vehicle crash took place at about 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, January 29 on westbound State Route 92, just east of the Foster City Boulevard exit.

According to the CHP, the wreck involved seven vehicles. One of the vehicles involved, a BMW, acquired major front-end damage in the crash.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to help those who were injured in the crash. The number of patients and their identities at this time remained undisclosed.

Tow trucks were dispatched to the site of the crash.

A SigAlert was issued at about 10:45 a.m., blocking three lanes.

The crash remains under investigation.
