Joshua Alexander Killed in Morongo Valley Pedestrian Crash on Highway 62

Morongo Valley, California (January 28, 2020) – 28-year-old Joshua Alexander of Pine Grove has been identified as a struck a and killed by a vehicle on Friday night in Morongo Valley, according to a police report.

The collision was reported at around 10:15 p.m. January 24, on Highway 62 just east of East Drive.

Authorities said a 1992 Nissan pickup truck was eastbound on Highway 62 behind another vehicle. The vehicle in front swerved abruptly, and the drive of the Nissan did not why the car swerve. The front side of the Nissan struck Alexader.

Alexander was killed in the accident.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.

The crash remains under investigation.
