Jesus Godines Identified as Pedestrian Killed in Fresno Crash on Wednesday Night

Fresno, California – The pedestrian who was killed in Fresno crash at the intersection of N Maple and E Dakota Avenues on Wednesday night was identified as Jesus Godines, a 46-year-old from Fresno.

The Fresno police stated that a woman who was driving southbound on Maple Avenue saw a man sitting in the roadway and she was unable to avoid him and was hit by the vehicle.

On August 19 just before 9:30 pm the victim identified as Godines was hit by the vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene.

However, the woman driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

The crash incident is under investigation of The Fresno Police Department.
