Jeffery Mills Identified as Man Killed in California City Accident on California City Boulevard

California City, California (January 1, 2020) – The Kern County coroner’s office has identified the pedestrian who was killed in a traffic collision in California City on Monday morning as 41-year-old Jeffery Wayne Mills, of California City.

The deadly crash occurred in the 7000 block of California City Boulevard at about 8:30 a.m. on Monday, December 30.

Police said Mills was pronounced deceased at the scene after the crash.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the crash.
