Jazmin Lewis ID’d as 1 of 2 Victims Injured in San Bernardino Car Accident on Kendall Drive and Lakewood Street

San Bernardino, California (December 8, 2019) – Authorities have identified Jazmin Lewis, 19, as one of the two people who were injured Thursday afternoon in a fatal traffic accident in San Bernardino.

The deadly crash took place at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 5 at the intersection of Kendall Drive and Lakewood Street.

According to the report, a Nissan truck was heading westbound on Kendall Drive when it made a left turn at the Lakewood Street intersection. For an unknown reason, the Nissan collided with a Volkswagen Beetle that was traveling through the intersection.

Lewis, who was the driver of the Beetle, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. A passenger in the Beetle was also hospitalized with minor injuries.

The driver of the Nissan was taken to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. A passenger in the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed, alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
