Jaime Solis Killed in Crash on Floral Drive and Valley Vista Drive in Monterey Park

Jaime Solis Fatal Monterey Park Accident on Floral Drive and Valley Vista Drive 

Monterey Park, California (February 10, 2020) – 35-year-old Jaime Tellez Solis of Monterey Park, has been identified as the victim killed in a head-on crash on Sunday afternoon in Monterey Pak, according to a police report.

The collision was reported at around 4:00 p.m. February 9, in the areas of West Floral Drive and Valley Vista Drive near the 60 Freeway.

The Monterey Park Fire Department said two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision for unknown reasons.

Solis was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. 

A second person was found trapped in one f the vehicles and had to be extricated.

The person was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to the report, one of the drivers was allegedly speeding before the crash.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
