Ivan Ledesma Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Flosden Road in American Canyon
Ivan Ledesma ID’d as Teen Killed in American Canyon Motorcycle Accident on Flosden Road near Daniel Drive
American Canyon, California (May 5, 2020) – The teen who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday night in American Canyon has been identified as Ivan Joaquin Ledesma, 17, of Vallejo, according to authorities.
The deadly crash occurred at around 9:22 p.m., on May 3, on Flosden Road near Daniel Drive.
As per the police reports, Ledesma was traveling southbound on Flosden Road on a Honda sportbike when for unknown reasons, he crashed into the passenger’s side of an Acura Integra sedan.
The Integra was turning westbound onto Daniel Drive from northbound Flosden, said the police.
Ledesma was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 10:13 p.m. on Sunday.
Following the accident, the Integra driver stopped and cooperated with the authorities.
Drugs or alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the mishap.
Traffic on Flosden Road was stopped for more than five hours due to the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
