Injuries Reported in Truckee Truck Crash Thursday morning on Interstate 80 near Hirschdale Road Off-Ramp  

Truckee, California (March 27, 2020) – Authorities are investigating an injury traffic collision that happened Thursday morning in Truckee.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an armored Brinks truck was traveling in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 at around 9:09 a.m. March 26, when it slammed into a guardrail and was hit by a grey Jeep Cherokee and a Toyota Rav4 SUV.

Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to those who were hurt as a result of the crash. However, the identities of the injured parties and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.

A tow truck was dispatched to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
