2 Hurt in Riverside Car Crash at Meridian Parkway and Van Buren Boulevard

Riverside, California (March 26, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that left two people injured on Thursday morning in Riverside.

At about 11:05 a.m., a car accident was reported at the intersection of Meridian Parkway and Van Buren Boulevard.

A minivan and an SUV, for unknown reasons, collided at the intersection. The incident happened on the edge of the Riverside city limits, near the entrance to Riverside National Cemetery, according to the police.

Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the crash site and found two people with minor to moderate injuries. Both patients were hospitalized for treatment.

The roadway was temporarily closed due to the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
